Dating back to 1902, The Grange House is a beautiful example of Arts and Crafts architecture, full of original character and craftsmanship. Rossi Studio was commissioned to sensitively modernise the property while preserving its soul and heritage.

The brief included a full redesign of the ground and first floors: extending the kitchen to create a bright, open-plan living space; reconfiguring the upstairs to form a luxurious master suite with dual bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes; and designing a traditional study that pays homage to the home's original features.

Energy efficiency and comfort were key considerations. We introduced underfloor heating, high-performance insulation, and secondary glazing, alongside a smart home automation system for effortless control. Original doors, handles, and fittings were lovingly restored and reintegrated throughout.

The result is a timeless family home that beautifully balances architectural heritage with contemporary elegance, practicality, and warmth.
