Rossi Studio was commissioned to transform the beautiful historic property of St Bernard’s Residential Care Home into a boutique-style environment that blends beauty, comfort, luxury and functionality with a warm, homely spirit.

Our vision was to create inspiring spaces where residents feel truly at home, surrounded by thoughtful design that supports both well-being and daily living.

Under Construction

This full refurbishment project encompasses all communal areas and includes new flooring, bespoke furniture, lighting schemes, décor, wall murals, and refined architectural details.

Every element has been carefully curated to meet the specific needs of the healthcare industry, ensuring compliance with safety and accessibility requirements, without compromising on elegance or atmosphere.

The design was meticulously crafted with attention to detail at every stage — from the selection of tactile materials and soothing colour palettes, to the integration of themed rooms that evoke familiarity, joy and emotional connection.

Given the sensitive nature of the environment, our planning and renovation strategy has been developed with precision.

We have invested significant time in preparation to ensure that when on-site works begin next spring, the process will be executed with minimal disruption to residents’ comfort and routine.

This project reflects our belief that care environments can be both functional and beautifully uplifting — celebrating life, comfort and dignity in every space.
